Mini Overseer Mask Magnet, Dishonored
This miniature mask is a one-third scale replica of the iconic mask worn by the Overseer character in the video game dishonored. To give it a realistic metal shine, the mask is cold cast using brass powder mixed with urethane resin. A light pass of airbrushed acrylic paint gives it the tarnished look of a real-world piece of armor.
To create the magnet I used a mix of 3D printing and traditional sculpting techniques. To get the starting shape, I used a low-poly 3D model printed at one-third scale. This model was then molded, and a clay cast was created for detail work. A second mold was created of the final clay sculpt for producing the final cold-cast resin version.
