Halloween GIVEAWAY! To celebrate my favorite holiday, I’m giving away one of my handmade masks. The winner gets his or her choice of a Bioshock rabbit splicer mask or a Borderlands psycho bandit mask.

With the master sculpt complete, I gave it a coat of Rustoleum flat gray primer. This was mostly to give the sculpt a surface that wouldn't cause problems with curing inhibition of the platinum silicone I was planning to use. I was careful not to use anything on the sculpt that I knew might be an issue, but just to be safe I put the primer on it anyways.

The iconic Psycho Bandit from Borderlands was my first video game mask replica. I love those little stitching details and that disturbing fan mouth. I knew I wanted a sturdy, wearable mask in the end, so I decided up front that I would be molding the original sculpt so I could cast copies from urethane resin.
