Overseer Mask, Dishonored 2
The Overseer character in Dishonored 2 looks quite a bit different from the version of the character in the first game, but one thing they both share is a fantastic mask design.
Producing this mask involved several steps: the 3D model from the video game was printed to scale, then a one-time "junk" mold was made of the 3D print. Molten Monster Clay was poured into the junk mold, and this clay cast was smoothed and detailed to give the final shape of the mask. A mold was made of this clay sculpt, and from that a cold-cast resin copy was produced. Acrylic paints were used to apply a hefty layer of weathering and aging, and high points on the mask were selectively polished to bring out the shine of the underlying metal powder.
